Viagogo sues Kilimanjaro Live over ticket cancellations

The already-heated debate around secondary ticketing in the UK has stepped up a notch: secondary firm Viagogo is suing promoter Kilimanjaro Live for its recent cancellations of Ed Sheeran tickets resold through the platform.
Viagogo is accusing the promoter of “confiscating thousands of genuine tickets at the gate, forcing fans to buy new tickets, and pocketing millions of pounds in duplicate sales” while alleging that the company – with its chief executive (and prominent anti-secondary campaigner) Stuart Galbraith cited specifically – previously used Viagogo to sell tickets to its artists’ concerts.
