Why does Google need to have two music-subscription services? It’s a question that’s been discussed by a fair few music-industry people in recent years.
Now it seems that YouTube’s global head of music Lyor Cohen has been asking the same question. And, indeed, answering it with a new plan.
“The important thing is combining YouTube Red and Google Play Music, and having one offering,” Cohen told the New Music Seminar conference in New York overnight, suggesting that merging the two services will be key to boosting their combined subscribers, against strong competition from Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon.

  1. I’m a badass follower of Game of Thrones.I’ve been seeing it since it came. It feels amazing watching it, isn’t it ? You just can’t tell what’s gonna happen next. You can’t expect whether your favourite character will be alive for the next season or not. And talk about the graphic violence! My goodness it’s just incredible. My favourite character is Petyr Baelish. And not to forget the loads of “theories”lurking around the web about Game of Thrones lol 😛 . To be straight forward I really liked your site and will definitely share this on my social profiles i.e. Twitter etc.Thank you for a great article! http://season7gameofthronesonline.com
